made that for a gig, copying something. i think it's pretty awful. the elements, like the crappy world beat, the terrible reason strings, and the gratuitous use of windchimes. also the massive verbed tamborine. ick. | |

microsounds do not need to be forced into a framework. especially not breakcore...just didn't work the way I'd hoped it would (you lose the beat) and it's too damn long.

for me it would have to be my least favourite track ive made that was still good enough to bother recording it and internetting it
well actually some parts of my live sets for stfu glasgow 05 and stfu helsinki 06 link and link make me feel a bit sick but theres some good stuff in there aswell
hmmmm- astroid- have you still got that tape i sent you? some of that is shit- and its a 'best of' compilation....

oh god.. the first song i ever finished. ended up getting put on a vinyl comp that had a jillion songs on one 12inch so everything sounded like ass. it was a friggin techno song. kind of housey but a little weird. its nowhere on the intertubes. i hate it.
probably half of the first album i finished would make my stomach churn if i listened to it. so many things i should have fixed...but there's a track or two that i really dig and a few parts of things here and there.. mostly the last minute or so of a few songs.. that are cool.

one time I was on a Nashville compilation. I sent them a CD of stuff, and they chose to press this one song in which I was sort of "taking the piss" and copying a bunch of people's sound at once. I sort of made it to copy people, and to play with a new sound I had heard. It was on the fence between taking the piss and being serious I guess. I was sick to my stomach when i found out they pressed it.
Lesson learned: don't send shit to people that doesn't represent the rest of your work. I sent a damned clicks and cuts sounding track in... and yeah well, listen to my releases...

oops again- thats stfu glasgow 06 up there, not 05 (cant edit it...) and i was originally thinking of the 05 one but have just remembered the 06 one and that its worse than the 05 one so, yeah, that one up there is about my worst
