yes it's a bit loud. I suggested that it be toned down .. but I thought I'd let people see it first.

that's why I posted it though... to get feedback. Most of my other peeps aren't on the forums and it's harder for them to get honest feedback.

also - did it crash on anyone? Every little peice can be moved around.. sometimes it crashes when I move them...

Outdated black slang ironically invoked by (presumably) white-hipsters...check.
"The Designers Republic" font on mouseover...check.
I think I'd turn down the hipster knob about 3 notches but that's just me. All I can think of when I see sites like this is that the people behind it were bratty suburban kids who are all grown up now.
Again, that could just be my own baggage.

Oh, and with regards to the dragging crash, I got it too. They might want to DL the most recent version of MooTools (javascript framework they're using for the tooltips and drags).

ugh .. that Paper Rad site is useless.. makes me feel better about ours now.
I'm not catching the slang thing ... except maybe that "Yo, Peace" thing on the chandos page.. which I want changed.
We don't flaunt or hide the fact that we just might sorta of be ... hipsters.
