Its such a thrill to receive a box full of CDs from an artist you respect, admire and look up to!
Today He Can Jog's full length CD Middlemarch arrived - due for release in June 2008.
It is an emotional moment for me - not just because the CDs look amazing (glad we went for the gloss finish on the CD!) with Nick Sanborn's beautiful photography and design.... not just because it sounds so amazing - Erik turns the air into a rarefied buzz of audio excitement, beautiful percussive placements and tones, melodies that make me shiver.... but because i know that Erik has dedicated so much graft, craft and skill to make his music what it is today and because he agreed to work with me in releasing it....I set up audiobulb in 2003 because I wanted to release and promote his music.
When you are running a label it doesn't get any better than when you get the chance to release the music you are a fanatical fan of.

this is the start of the review period - 12 weeks
it gives all the mags time to fit a release whilst it is still "newly released"
mags do not want to publish reviews on cds that are old news - so i have to sit on the cd until the official release date....
