--> Hello!

As some of you may or may not know, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in August. She had to go through a lot but has just finished her treatment and is well on the mend. To give something back to the Breast Cancer Campaign, My friends Steve, George and I are doing a sponsored drive to Dundee in our bare feet on the 7th June, eating nothing but toblerones.

Please support our foolish quest and put yourself down for as much money as you can afford.

Pledge here;

and I will come after you like the clappers when we get back! (

ok

THANK YOU X

edit; to give you some idea, thats 531 miles. oh, and the whole concept is from I'm Alan Partridge, I'm not completely mental...

damn that dollar to pound conversion

lol at campaign. i expect firm evidence of bare feet usage and toblerone eatery before i commit any money!

Im sorry to inform you that it is in fact illegal to drive barefoot in Scotland and it is generally frowned upon in the rest of the UK, as it is considered that you do not have proper control of the vehicle - same with wearing wellies.

barefoot driving = risky business, I've nearly crashed making a Taco Bell run trying to drive in socks but no shoes

glue some carpet on the pedals

I didn't know that driving with platform shoes was so dangerous!

Good thing to know I am wearing proper driving shoes.

i read this and thought bear foot walking, which considering the amount of dog shit there is between you and dundee would be fool hardy to say the least.

will sponser you for your barefoot munathon.

If Zanf is right then that sucks - you'll have to add another zany twist to your quest! How about doing it in girl's clothes?

I'd've thought the danger was from the post-Bell sharts

hehe i knew zanf would be the one to mention that! ;)

yeah i am aware it is perhaps not entirely legal, but i don't think it will hurt anyone. may add some cushioning to the pedals...

due to the resulting ass-destabilization? Indeed, this is why you must never eat the Bell and the drive immediately afterwards.

mock my quoting powers please

you hippes should really make taco bell runs on your 1-speed bikes when you are so stoned that you can't even put on your birkenstocks.

speaking of stoned: link

That was you, wasn't it, tantan?

r4p I'm sorry that we've done this to your thread, I will pledge if I can and wanted to say congrats on your mother's success!
