--> well, it's been awhile, but I'm back. Who's back? Well, I've been a member of em411 on and off for, i dunno, maybe 6 or 7 years. I've had my account deleted several times for inactivity, something that I guess doesn't happen now being that my user id is still here after not having logged in for awhile.

I'm glad to see there's some local folks on here these days. Before it was just a couple ppl closer to DC, but now i see several frederick ppls, even a guy up in cumberland.

yet for all the new members it seems as if there's less activity on the forums than before. can this be? oh well, i've got some reading to do. cheers and take care, i'll be around ;) -jamie

yet for all the new members it seems as if there's less activity on the forums than before.

seems to me the forum became less active when the front page started updating every 60/whatever seconds. that was the turning point if i'm not mistaken.

em (now known as admin) decided they interfered with the transmission of information or some such nonsense. certainly the pages load faster now. not worth it IMO. forums should have avatars, makes ppl much easier to recognize, not to mention the laughs.

forums are now like the wastebin. they get deleted every months, so they don't that much attention anymore

When youre doing it with vinyl, its the movement of your hands that helps with the beat!

I made a track out of those samples with a friend - I could never remember who had recorded & shared them. thanks and welcome back Jamie!!
