--> They kicked off their tour in Seattle in fine style. I know you may want an in depth detailed review, but you're not going to get that here. I will sum it up with one word:

neat.

Did anyone else go? I didn't see anyone that I recognized there, but I've been so out of touch that it's not surprising.

i can't wait to see them in carborro (chapel hill) at the end of the month. exciting... autechre and meat beat manifesto in one month.

when I first heard Helter Skelter, I was a changed man instantly.

yeah i'm bummed they didn't make it up here this time- saw them last tour and thought it was awesome. it's always good when you see a group you've liked for 15 years or so and they still put on a wicked live show.

We're they even a Manifesto that long ago, or just a pamphlet?
Also, what was it like before cars were invented?

lol @ Meat Beat Stone Tablet

it was more of a credo back then

"storm the studio" absolutely blew my mind. I had no idea stuff like that existed.

If I had a dollar every time I've listened to that album start to finish, I could probably retire.

wow, I remember seeing them in an abondoned warehouse in inner sydney in the early 90's, one of the best things ever. not even police brutality could dampen it

I might go see them tonight here in SF.
I remember seeing them about a million years ago at the original 9:30 club, with consolidated. They were awesome.

I Saw them in Portland April 10th. It's material all the way back to God O.D, plus an "all drumming" finale that rocked. They have a live drummer and a guy doing tweaks to the synced video show behind them. I'd guess the majority of what you're hearing is pre-rendered, although they add little tweaks and extra sounds. It's still great to hear these songs blasting out, and Jack Dangers is his usual lively self. He can still scream like a mofo too, at certain opportune moments.
