--> I've been working on a new performance set, all loops controlled from a monome and glitched out using third party effects via ableton. On my site I've posted a live run thru broken up into chunks, it's under the heading "Every Cliche Available". Here's a link:

Next weekend I'm getting together with some guys to perform at a radio station in NJ and may use some of the material, so would love feedback.

Cheers!

this is is nice stuff! my only crit would be allow a little more down-time, so to speak. I mean, the music stays fairly dense generally speaking, at least thru track 3. Honestly though, you are already doing some of this and I have to think to find something i would improve. nice stuff, like i said.

I like your stuff, I think you and I playing live together would sound like a tipped out fatboyslim.

Oh and does the monome allow you to set one row to contol filter depending on it's position of up or down? You could do a sick emulation of the EF303 on many levels.

Damn, this is really good. Cliches abound, but it's on point and done in really tastefully. Definitely the aesthetic I strive for as a budding Ableton DJ (minus some glitches here and there).

Are you just firing off clips with the monome? How do you adjust levels, eq, etc.

Thanks for all the feedback.

@ Logo - I am using the monome to control an app called MLR, which allows me to fire off loops, but gives mroe granular control than Ableton. That I am running inside Ableton, so I can add effects. In addition, I have nother midi devicewith a bunch of knobs on it to control levels, EQ, and effect parameters. Mostly I don't do much EQ, just add some high end here and there, and I've set up the clips so I don't have to do much vol adjusts either.

@ hardvoltnine - the monome app doesn't have a filter control like that, but I might be able to set it up in Ableton. Thanks for the suggestion!
