--> The show that I was supposed to play play last January has gone through a whole bunch of potential dates, potential venues, and potential themes, but it's finally officially official. May 25th (which happens to be my birthday), at the Baltic Room in Seattle. Full deets here. I'm still working on my set. I started over from scratch when I realized I had more time to work, and I'm waaaaay happier with what I'm writing now. this show is going to kick some ass.

On a related note, I ordered some buttons as merch for this upcoming show back in February. After my paypal payment went through, the company stopped responding to my e-mails and the buttons never showed up. It was supposed to take 5-6 days, so I should have had them before the end of February. Anyways, this weekend, I finall got around to looking up another company to make them for me, sent off some artwork and a price request. Guess what showed up in the mail today? The missing buttons, 8 weeks late. No notification, no reply to the half dozen e-mails I'd sent asking what happened.

Good news is, they look pretty sweet!

So Seattlites, y'all should come wish me a happy birthday/first show on the 25th. It's a long weekend, you can't possibly have plans (unless you count Sasquatch or some dumb thing like that).

usually when someone flakes out on a date to play, i call it quits. unless theyre a close friend, but its important to let these people know you take your time seriously
