em411 greasemonkey hack 'ignore user'

Inspired by a recent boingboing greasemonkey hack roshi and i fiddled around and came up with a em411 version to hide all posts from a certain user.. an aid for teh ignoring ;)
Next step, in case anyone feels like modding the script, would be to get it working with an array of usernames that you could edit.
Get the greasmonkey firefox extension here: link
Once its installed point ffox here link and click the 'install' button, top right. that's it!
At the moment it hides posts from the user in the forums and releases areas (maybe elsewhere too).. but the users name will still appear on the homepage and maybe other places too.
Edit: updated version up link Uses a 'blacklist' array to block multiple users posts.
Edit: made a new version that also removes the user from the 'latest comments' and homepage release list. link (uninstall other blacklist scripts if you want to install this version). | |
