--> Hello, hi, woop!

I just completed the soundtrack - music and sfx - for this 3d animation, set in Burger Town: link

I had a great laugh doing it. It was a real challenge to adapt my music to match the style of the animation. I am not well known for doing happy bouncy music. I did still end up keeping it a little on the darkside in places

The animation was created by my friend at - link and the characters and concept are by the now rather famous Jon Burgerman - link

I'd love to know what you think. I am pretty stoked and really enjoyed doing this Would be up for doing more of the same, for sure.

WOOP.

Sam.

haha @ mlbot - quality game...

cheers @ frnortnr - i'm glad

excellent job!

is there much synthesis in the FX track? (or are the bloopy bleepy sounds based on samples?) can you say something about how you put it together?

this is friggin excellent.
the sound adds so much character.

id like to hear an extended version of that tune.

great work cool sam

i love your style on this stuff, the menace in that bass really works for the off-kilter animation

really nice. nice animation too!
fantastic work! I love it too. Really strange and cool. Congrats!

Awesome! Loved it dude. I'll echo what's been said but I think it fits really well with the animation as well.

damn that's fresh... very cool art style on the animation, ready for saturday morning tv!

This is real cool samski!

Sounds really quality and interesting.

*adds blog to CV* Seriously...............really happy to read your reactions...ta!

cbit - the process was something like this:

1. storyboard music from rough animation (time was quite limited, which meant the final animation timing changed, which was fun!)
2. create a basic style sketch for the 'backing' tune
3. start adding in effects - these were almost all samples...mainly of me going 'oooooooooh' / 'ello' / 'hehaha' etc. funnily enough the chap I did this for used to work with me and would often say 'the human voice is the best synthesizer'...ha!
4. polish the tune, add another layer of effects
5. panic / hack away at it due to the timing change in the final animation (naughty naughty)
6. all done, have an ale.

something like that anyways. not trying to suggest I did it in one evening. ha! took a while to do. not sure how long other people take to do stuff but i guess this took me about 30-40hrs overall.

cheers!! sam.
