So, I took hardvoltnine's lead and checked out a meetup here in the Yay. What a good call. The meetup was about 15 people, from curios to composer. We met at a bar, and went to a conference room, and had a meetup. It was super cool, everyone introduced themselves. Then everyone got a chance to share something, music, software, gear. I had to leave early, but it was a very positive experience, and I will definitely be back.
It was strange talking about EM in an office conference room, I mean it was pimp room with 3 projectors and decent sound, but it still reminded me of a linux users group back in the day. Instead of geeking on linux, we were geeking out on EM.

nice one. THat would be weird to me, we usually meet up at local shows. BUt I designed the meet up that way, its about live electronic music. I need to schedule another jam tho, those are the best for involvement.
