Mixit 65, the "reMixit" - is two weeks in, two weeks to go before submissions are due.
If you've never done a Mixit -- people upload samples for a set period of time, then the samples are released to everyone -- then you make tracks using ONLY the samples provided.They can be manipulated, run through effects, chopped, sliced, diced, and called funny names -- but all the sounds in your tracks must be derived from the source samples.
This month, we bypassed the sample upload phase, and picked random samples from the past 10 Mixits.

Once the deadline is met (end of the month) -- the submitted tracks are released for people to listen to, comment on, etc. It's a great way to hear some interesting tunes, and get feedback on your own work -- AND -- build up your sample library.
Mixit. Because it's fun.
