If alva noto plays Toronto...

...but nobody promotes the show, does he (and some of his raster noton labelmates) make a sound?
I just read on Basic's site that this took place. Thanks to the Drake geniuses for the excellent promotion. Bravo. :-(
On another note, I'll be in Athens (Greece) visiting family in a few weeks; where can a faintly creepy middle-aged guy like me go for some EM?

the venue where stfu athens was at has loads of EM, it's called BIOS and it's errrhh, somewhere where you can see the acropolis. haha

Sorry to break it to you, but the show I just attended was fucking incredible. I don't think I've ever danced (ok... wiggled) some much anywhere (I completly lost my composure) to a Raster Noton showcase to boot. Way better than last time they came around (possibly due to the fact that I drank a lot more). I never knew Alva Noto could rock a party show hard...
I would totally bust out the pitchforks and torches on those Toronto promoter dudes.

Delete & daswesen, thanks for the info on BIOS. Will check it out if I am in Athens for more than one day. I think the cousins are taking me straight to the island. Maybe it has an em scene there? Lots of expats live there now, so who knows?

i think none of the islands has an EM scene, at least not in this time of year. there might be EM parties in Crete every now and then but i don't think there's anything regular. which island are you going to?

our resident clickmeister yghartsyrt (nq) is much too humble himself, but he's actually playing at a festival the same as Alva Noto next week. so if you're in modena, italy you should check him out.. June 6, Galeria Civica (I'm playing on the other night of the festival)
