--> Well its that time of year again!

Tomorrow is the Federal Way, Washington American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

What's insane about this you may ask?
Besides people walking around the track for 24 hours.

Well the insane part is that I am the DJ. For the whole event. It gets really goofy around 3am, last year it was mash ups with the Police and some downtempo. This year who knows! Its not like I plan out anything.

Planning - No
Bringing a lot of vinyl and winging it - Yes
Forgetting something I really wanted to play - Hell Yes

There are several bands (none of which will be there for sound check and all of which will complain about something to me. And I will not care, I was there at 9am for sound check you were not you lose all right to complain fuck off) They also play a couple of movies around 11pm-ish so I'm not playing records the whole time but it is a really long day (9am Sat to 12pm Sun)

A bright note is the fact that I'm playing vinyl. It makes it really hard for people to ask me to play "that soulja boy cd i have in my car". Which is nice. I think we're getting CDJ's this year, but I set up my decks in a different area and just refuse to play them.

So anyway I'd like to say everyone should volunteer more!
Its fun and you feel good.

This is my second year doing this, they liked last year enough to ask me back. I blame that lack of sleep on me agreeing to come back next year. ;)
