I went to the Toronto launch of the Tenori-on last night. It was quite the event, great live performances! They had 8-10 Tenori-ons around the venue for people to play with. I have to say, they are pretty intriguing little devices. It's a shame the headphones provided weren't very good, I could barely hear what I was doing over top of the performances.
All in all, I was impressed. I'm still not sure if it's worth anything near $1200 though.
I can't wait to play with one again, it definitely makes you rethink your whole approach to composing, everyone is a noob when they pick one of them up! I think that's what I like about it, it doesn't matter how experienced you are with making music, anyone can pick one up and make something decent with a little effort.

He was great! I've been a fan of his music for a while now... Unfortunately I never hear of him getting booked in Toronto.
I can't wait to see him play again, whenever that may be.

i know he's been busy developing a game with jon mak, the guy who made everyday shooter. his website doesn't have any upcoming shows listed. he's not too good at the publicity thing in general, i find.
