--> What the hell.

It's one AM, I'm mad jonsing to hear "here comes the sun" and I no longer have a record player. No problem, right? There are like a million billion mp3 services now, and the Beatles must have finally seen the light. NOPE.

What the hell.

damnit Michael Jackson. WTF are you thinking?????

Oh, is that his arena? Oh shit, yeah - he bought up the rights to a lot of their music? I remember hearing something to that effect at some point. That and that he owns "Happy Birthday" too.

Happy Birthday is owned by AOL/Time Warner link (see bottom) and Jackson technically only owns half the rights. link (again see bottom)
Hecanjog, I would suggest downloading one of those massive torrents, pick what you like from it and delete the rest, and then order those albums from amazon or wherever.

I think he's had to sell off a lot of the beatles catalogue to fund his, well, insanity.

Yup, he did.

Maybe this is Apple's way of getting back at Apple records for the whole itunes lawsuit thingie.

Blame yoko

Are we seriously going to feel guilt about not giving them there fair share of the profits from "Here Comes the Sun"? Cause I mean, the rights were bought and sold years ago, half the band is dead, and they made more from that one song than the 10 of us will in our entire lifetime of ANY kind of work. Just grab a torrent.

link

i always youtube old songs i like

indeed , by downloading illegally, you're not hurting the artists, your hurting the capitalist pigged royalty owners... FIGHT THE POWER!

i continually download metalllica albums and delete them off my computer and repeat just to piss them off.
