--> so i guess some people know, that i used to live in munich for the last two years, working as an editor for a studio/syntheszer-magazine. it a hell lot of work and i never really found time to ease off and was permanently suffering from sleep-deprevation, tons of overtime hours just vanishing into nowhere, just because my boss decided it would be a good idea to save him money.

so. the contract ended two weeks ago and since me and my girlfriend were living about 600 kilometres away from each other (which is also putting lots of stress on a relationship) i decided it would be a good idea, to relocate to her place.

so now i'm here. living in cologne, which is a really nice city. (already found a really decent recordshop, where i will leave loads of money)
thing is, that at the moment i live at my gf's apartment, which is rather small, so we are looking into some new place to live.

that also means, that studiowise my setup got a little bit scaled down.
at the moment it's just my macbook pro, m-audio firewire410 as an audiointerface, a novation nocturn, a faderfox and some ultrasone headphones. i think i'll try to fit a small oxygen8 on the table aswell.

the pics are:
the view outside our bedroom
the living room from one angle
the bedroom(which is also my studioplace/working desk for writing reviews and everything)
the view out of the living room window
and the living room from another angle.

so YAY for new times.

and as you can see. we try to be more minimal than ritchie hawtin, as we bought all white colour available in cologne to paint our walls.

yeah cologne is pretty nice, I live not that far off, might pay you a visit one day
nice view you've got there, squares are the best!

I suppose cologne is a bit more friendly and human than uber posh munich?

if you should be i cologne, drop me a mail. i'm always up for a coffee and a good chat.

cologne is so mch ore friendly than munich. personally i don't like t, when a city is totally clean and only has beautiful spots. i need some dirt and old, worn down houses and such to feel comfortable. so cologne is a good choice as there are also some indstrial parts/sites i really do enjoy.
but i'm still starting to explore this city.

It looks lovely, almost makes me pine after a city that is a bit more green...you should see the view from my bedroom window! All I can see is flat blocks!

I'm going to be visiting germany later in the year though. Most likely Berlin!

looks good! is that a table in the shape of a plectrum?

yup it is. it's caled nierentisch. which translates as kidneytable, which is a design, that was popular in the fifties.

Congratulations mate!
I was gonna comment on that coffee table too, it's really nice.

looks like paradise to me. Congratulations!
that recordshop, is it this one?
link
probably my favourite store that ive never been to

can i come visit?

yeah it's that store. amazing collection of records.

@UF: of course. as soon as we live in a flat, were we have enough room for visitors i'd be happy to call you my guest

got me two rank brettschneider and a stephan mathieu record i didn't have at that store

great times.
next time i try to get more into the experimental boxes (but i didn't have that much time the last visit – and they were huge)

yea, great view. i got a shitty view from my apt as well, one learns to appreciate being able to look outside and see trees.

it's really great, because in munich my view was just the wall of the next house, that was 10 metres away.

love it

Looks great ygh! This sounds like really good news, Congratulations on improved quality of life!
