--> So as you might know I've recently been building a bass cab for use with my band Blood Moon link
Well it's now complete, so here's a link to the photos. link

It took me ages, cost me a lot more than i hoped and it weighs over 6 stone... But i think it's worth it.
It gives lovely deep bass, and sounds great turned up loud, especially with the 4x10 Hartke cab going at the smae time. The plan now is to run all our instruments into a little mixer and set the left output to the bass rig and the right output to the guitar amp. Then we use pan to set which speakers they come out of. That means we can use some guitar amp sound for the synth, say, but still get the bottom end on it from the bass cabs. Also, can send some guitar to the bass cabs for Doom/drone goodness...

So yep, here's the pictures link and the last one shows the three speakers together with the amp and the mixer that i'm now calling the Womb Soundsystem...

Nice one, And just to say thanks for all the help you chaps gave me on the boards, some of that info was invaluble. Infact, i had to change the design a bit after the first test run cos i'd miscalculated the port depth, so thanks guys cos without you it would sound pissy...

boooooom!

Astroboy: yep that's the Edirol monitors, i use them for my TV now.... rubbish.
i think doom metal and dubstep are quite similar in some respects.
