--> My thoughts:

How nifty would it be to release an EM411 user album. Net release, print on demand, whatever, which is comprised of cover songs done by em411 users, of their inspirations? I'd be glad to dedicate space and bandwidth to host such a project or offer ftp services. Example album titles or thoughts anyone? Here is an example snippet of what I'm thinking (a cover version I'm working on of Kraftwerk's "Computer Love"):

I don't know how much a market there would be for it, but... doing a cover is always a fun idea.

Would be a good way for artists to get their name out on another avenue. Food for thought. Doesn't have to be a money making thing. Could even compress it and toss it around as a torrent. Cult internet type stuff.

Either way, covers or originals, it's pretty easy to put stuff out there now -- Kunaki will print the CDs and mail them out, Watunes lets you put them on the online music services, or... you can just fling it to the far reaches of the interwebs with a torrent download -- but how will people know it's there, in any case?
