--> Please help an internet moron. I'm trying to get a working cSound renderer on my Mac. This is proving to be a pain in the ass. I download MacCsound from the cSound home page. MacCsound tells me I need to download something called CsoundLib first. But when I go to the supposed download page for CsoundLib, there is no file to download. Can somebody tell me what the hell is going on? This problem is pretty annoying to me, as cSound was blissfully simple to download and install back in the OS9 days. Thanks!

Looks like they had an old link or something up - I see the new (5.08) version here: link

that said, u just tried installing it under leopard and it doesn't seem like it's compatible - the latest version of osx it looks like they support is 10.4.

sorry - I just tried installing it under leopard, not "U" - doh!

Thanks hecanjog. That's really disappointing. I guess I should have rebuilt my system with 10.4. At least I still have my OS9 operated G4 from 2000. There's a reason I keep my old stuff!

Surely you can still use OS9 emulation to run it?

Interesting! I though 10.5 no longer supported any classic applications.
