Hello all,
I'm back in the music making and performance mode after some hiatus. I guess the summer brings out the creativity. Usually its the winter, but this year, I was busy during the winter.
Anyway, b0t23 and I are playing on the radio tonight (8/5/8).
We will be on 31Ava's "Severe Exposure" radio show on KPSU.
That's 1450 AM if your in the Portland area.

and... this FRIDAY, 8/08/08, I will be playing some dark electro breaks at the Subversion show... put on by ELM. Here are the details to the event. Link
The Subversion show will be pretty downtempo till midnight.... culminating in a live performance by Rena Jones. She does some really great chill music playing and sampling cello and violin with Ableton. Phidelity is one of my favorite DJs in town and he does a pretty varied style.. plus he designed the great flyer.
After midnight, the electrobreaks begins. b0t23 & 214 will do a tagteam set, and damn... their tagteam sets are the shiz. Greg Skidmore is coming down from Seattle... one of the best electro DJs this side of the Pecos. I play last, and I'm going to be doing a all gear ... sort of improv set. I can't wait! Please come check out the show... you will not be disappointed.
and... I'm going to the radiohead show at University of British Columbia on August 19th... w00t!... after that I'm playing with SciFiSol in Seattle on August 21st. Here's the info on that: Bonkers!. We're excited about this show. We'll be playing solo and together as Camino Acid. Last time we played together, it was mutant fest. We totally improvised... and I tapped out beats on ableton with the padkontrol... which is really damn fun!!
and... we'll be playing again as Camino Acid at Decibel this year.

For the radio show, I DJed using Traktor. But, for Friday, I'm going to be using a Korg Electribe ESX and a Monomachine MKII. I'm going to throw in a reverb unit too.
