||1|| We've Met Before, When We Were... [Claudia]
We’ve Met Before, When We Were… marks Claudia’s beautifully vulnerable debut album. Each track represents a focused study of sound, repetition and space. Acoustic instruments, low voltage electronics, broken cutlery and sewing machines combine across a minimal sequence of tiny variations. As the album progresses the tracks develop to portray an intimate narrative.

Vital Weekly say... "It's not the usual rhythm machines and ambient textures, but sounds culled from daily life, like tooth brushing, tennis balls or sewing machines...."

Out Now @ iTunes, eMusic, Napster & Audiolunchbox.

||2|| Exhibition #3 [Various]
Vital Weekly say... "There are differences between the artists, that are sometimes subtle (perhaps even too subtle), but a track like that from Effacer and Another Electronic Musician (that is a great artist name!) - the opening and closing piece - are wide apart. From a mysterious sounding synth and stumbling rhythm to a
nice flowing bed of ambient rhythms. Straight forward, in y'r face stomping of Nomad Place to the more complex piano cum melancholy rhythms of Ultre. The rhythm glitch of Build or the Ikeda glitch of Bllix. This is a great guide for would be label owners or festival organizers looking for new talent.

Out Now @ iTunes, eMusic, Napster & Audiolunchbox.

||3|| Artist Page Update
Audiobulb has re-organised the artist page to reflect the label's focus. The page now contains a "Guest" section holding information on artists who have collaborated with audiobulb on a "guest" basis. These artists main body of work is usually released elsewhere. The remaining audiobulb artists are actively working on future release projects and they are represented as before.

||4|| Bulbcast-004
Bulbcast-004 is now available bringing an abstract mix of summer ambience. The mix contains extracts from Claudia's new album as well as exclusive tracks from OTI (Auschwitz pats 1 & 2), and Exhibition #3 cuts from Effacer & Another Electronic Musican. link

||5|| Live
Autistici live @ NetAudio Festival London 16 September 2006. Netaudio06 is a celebration of the communal effort and productivity of netlabel activists and musicians. It aims to offer a broad range of electronic music to both existing audiences as well new, introducing and promoting the netlabel format to a wider public. link

||6|| Image Gallery : Brendan Monroe
Have you seen this amazing work - cycling through our random image gallery? Brendan is an artist who likes strange creatures and foreign lands. His imagery often includes things derivative of nature that are then twisted and brought to life like some kind of science experiment gone bad. There is an evil and a good side lurking in his use of each medium: sculpture, acrylic painting and printmaking. He is currently living and working out of Berkeley, California. link

||7|| Moving Forward In Little Moments >>>>
A big thank you to everyone who has dropped us a line to say hello, sent us a demo or complimented our work. Like Ultre.... on his way to you soon - absolutely breathtaking

oooh....excited for the Claudia album. I'll be buying that once I get home for sure!

there are audio extracts @ the site >>>> link

got it from audiolunchbox earlier, definetly the most 'exploratory' audiobulb release i've heard so far

It stikes me that your tone in the first paragraph of this introduction is a tad apologetic. I've heard this album and think it needs no such preface. It just confuses me, is all. Kind of works against the artist, no? Also you have left out the end of that Vital Weekly review in which the guy comments on loving the musical elements that have found their way into this work. ???

I think I was just acknowledging the Vital comment > the reviewer found the album difficult in places

But I think it is lovely and I am proud to put it out there >

agreed. I love it too.

great stuff teh bulb!

i agree with fredo.. imo no need to pander to ppl who won't like the release, use the precious wordcount to just emphasise how much you do like it instead :D

points taken

edit is up >
