we've had a hard month.
the gist of it, our dog got his ass bitten by a coyote, and we're going broke trying to treat his wounds. if he has to go to the hospital, i don't know if we can pay for it.
so, it was wonderful to get back today and see a check for 100 bucks from cdbaby. i just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who's bought one of those cds. it's almost making a profit!

i'm just so grateful for everyone around me. this community, in particular, is a really wonderful place, from boggie right down to the troll. i love you people. i'm grateful that my dog is being treated now, and that we seem to have enough money to squeak by. i'm grateful for the roof over my head, my career, and having food in my stomach. i'm most grateful for ariel. she's propping me up from going nuts.

i once saved my cat from a coyote. they coyote was just kind of howling and yelping at her, and i ran out and chased it away and threw rocks at it. funniest part was when i joined the fight my cat started gearing up to take a run at the coyote! she was like, "yeah bitch, who's got the upper hand now?" (obviously, my cat can't talk, but captions do magically appear under her from time to time).

Oh, I see the troll is grateful for the opportunity to speak. I for one am grateful to have lived for 35 years and never was compelled to get married or date: women or coyotes. That is to say, I'm thankful I have been immune to being lonely. And as a tangent to that, I'm grateful that I've never gotten deathly ill here by myself or I'd be toast.
