--> ok, we have started our route 66 crusads, my father, brother and i. had a great stay in chicago at hilton, not very personal but comfy. great beds we have had bagels, burgers, beers, pancakes. walked a lot this morning, and drove away far too late. drove only like 22 miles. now we are staying at a super cheasy super 8 motel in springfield, illinois. i love this.

had teh best steak i ever tasted at the cattlemens steakhouse today. 14oz. blue ribbon steak. oh yeah.
