--> Hi,

I'll try to break up pawels hundred attention-seeking blogs with one that actually might be worth reading (for some of you anyway)

Tonight, I knocked up a little utility for myself and thought I'd share it.

Basically, what it does is create .MPD (for MPD-16) and .PRG files (for MPCs running JJOS) but whats useful is it can assign either chromatically or using a scale starting from the note number you specify, allowing you to play MIDI notes using the MPC/MPD more melodically (as it misses out the notes you dont need)

Download here : link (Updated link w/ JJOSv1 support)

Enjoy!

A STONEWALL IN THE MIDST OF A CATAGORY THREE PAWELCAIIINE! RUN FOR IT! RUN!!!!

Oh... Cool! Very useful for someone I know! Wow!!!

Oops! Forgot to mention this is PC only, but you probably guessed that. If any mac owners would like a pack of scaled .MPD or .PRG files, let me know.

thanks kid q!

I'm in your target demo - PC + JJOS2 on my MPC1000...

Yeah, its a little exclusive right now. I'll probably update the prog soon with support for JJOS v1 and Akai OS too.

I'll add new scales/modes at some point soon too, I think. I may also add the ability to specify your own scales. All depends on feedback and whether or not I can be bothered ;)

looks like its time to get that jjos thanks for sharing!

nice.. one more reason to upgrade to os2

thanks

minim requested a pack of MPD-16 Config files for use on his mac, so here they are for any mac owners who might want them :

Here's the pack of .PRG files for MPC owners with macs (or lazy pc owners ;))

thanks kq! i'm kicking myself for being a 2000xl/non-jjos guy.

Thank you. There are very useful.

Bump!

Just updated the program to support JJOS v1 too. Link updated in top post.
