--> Hello,

I was quite excited that I remembered to ask my friend to grab some footage of my set last night.

This is my favorite portion of my set and happy it was captured : link
This is a nice slow movement song, it would be perfect with real bongos : link

I played @ the Knitting Factory which is one of the larger and well know venues in NYC. Of course it was the dungeon on the basement level, but whatever. I don't actually like the venue, mainly because its a large place and bigger name. Personal opinion I know. At least they had a nice sounding PA and a sound engineer there the whole time. We had a great time tho, no matter what roof it would have been under.

The first band was "The Phibes", a 5 or 6 people jazz funk band and then played "Cold Flavor Repair" another full stage full sounding act that rocked the house and had people dancing around and tipping bottles up. I was really nervous to play after such an intense set they put on. Luckily the sound man gave me some confidence after sound checking he said,"I'll make that bass hit really nice, oh yea." And I think it did hit pretty good.

I had two new pieces of hardware; EMX-1 and the KP-3. It was really sad that the KP-3, which I had routed on the alt- 3/4 channel of my Mackie, was making noise disappear and I didn't have time to trouble shoot. I checked a couple times through out the set, but alas, I didn't even get to use it on my new set up's maiden voyage. bah. I had deleted all my previous work on the machinedrum because they all lined up to my old ER-1 and EA-1's about a month ago. For all brand new material, some songs finished that day, I think it went pretty well.

Just wanted to share and critque and feedback is definitely cool

That's the room where I went to see Panacea. Except it wasn't the real Panacea (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Panacea), it turned out to be some lame rock band. Four guys and a room full of their friends. My friend and I got our money back.

fukin hell...nice.
the crowd sux though..move to europe.

get a table dude. this looks so uncomfortable.

sounds nice. looks liek fun

epic beauty, man. I'm such a fan of your music. One of these days I'm going to have to come out and hear it live.

that is funky was that the ms2000 all the way to the right? it was so dark i couldn't see it almost.
your emx-1 makes your machinedrum look like a toy almost!
people really like those the e*x line machines. I'm thinking about getting one now.

good set

i've played that room a few times, you're in good company

it used to be such a cooler underground scene, too bad it's gone the way of most experimental venues in the US.

i love seeing all that gear smashed together on the floor, it's one of my favorite ways of playing because the floor is just endless!

nice work, cool grooves.

yghartsyrt, I had my stand right around the corner, but since I was playing after live bands, I wanted to play on the ground so people could see I'm what I was doing. lol, funny you mention that it looks uncomfortable, I was just talking to my friends about my superior squatting abilities.

Fredo, the little party ,Out of Sequence, we've been do about once a month is really fun, come some time and have some beers with us

Yeah, Hteah, I really have been contemplating moving to europe. But I can't hate on the crowd, people stuck around after the main drawing band was done, and my friends came out too. The atmosphere wasn't exactly "lets dance to electronic music". Cool thing tho, some one came up to me afterward to make sure she can see my set again and tell me that she was pissed cause no one was dancing and she really wanted to dance. what a big fat smile on my face

Oh yeah, that is a MS2000r to my right. It makes the fart noize!

Nice set. That's some hardfloor right there!
