uh, i think it's quite ugly.

i prefer a tradeoff between the traditional myspace look and some small tweaks.
like, uhm, my own profile:

I like it. Anything that makes myspace look less like geocities is good in my book.

mine is just a few font sizes and color changes: link

Maybe i'll really fix it one of these days.. years...

how do you tweak musician profiles? i wish i knew how!

i could tell you.
but then i'd have to kill you...

i think there's no sense in over-tweaking myspace music profiles.

i mean... myspace is providing a (ugly but useful) interface to spread all your info and music.
i want people to instantly find all required information about me.
normally i don't stay too long on overtweaked profiles. when my brain is in myspace-mode i don't want to struggle with complex profiles. i want to find the "influences" on the left side and the band info on the right side.

blablabla.

amen.

(myspace has obviously destroyed my linguistic skills...)

oops, bad post

I'm with astroboy. No sense in fucking with myspace's general layout too much, it is a generic service for the most part, good to have things in the same place.

Good to make it a little less ugly, though. bsr's is a really good example of de-uglifying the default.

And, as it turns out, my page is nearly identical to astroboy's, so there you have it:
