this release is really stunning

once my comp is up, im all over this!

yeah, totally stunning. I was surprised, i guess i expected nadja lite or something.

I'm going to go see him perform tonight!

w00t!

Aidan Baker rocks

Although the guy has so many releases now I can't really keep up!

so was this his debut DEBUT show, or just his debut in London?

no, he's been performing live for a long time. it was his first show in london though!

lucky bastard! although i did get to see nadja play earlier this year, and it was phenominal

distance is fast becoming one of my favorite labels, nice dude.
amazong.

great stuff. really looking forward to listen to that

This release is amazing. Already listened to it many times and love it. Very relaxing and beautiful.
The artwork is sweeeeeet! Love the colors.

listened to it several times as well. beautiful music, exactly the stuff i enjoy lately.

I can't believe nadja plays without amplifiers... i forgot about that little factoid. Total wall-of-sound music made with guitar/bass run thru FX and a small mixer. Crazy! Rad show, tho! Subtle ambient & Doom Metal... blended.

you sure about that ml? when i saw them they had three amps.. one for guitar and two for bass.. at least that's what it looked/sounded like.. they did have the mixer and effects setup, but i could swear i saw and heard amps, rather than the house PA.

i will ask him and find out :D

If they had amps they were well hidden, and most of the sound was coming from the house PA.

I only give the show a B+ because they set up on the stage rather than around the stripper pole that was above the big fishtank.

Grrr...sad I missed him.

Yeah, isn't there that picture somewhere that shows Aidan's "pedalboard" - it's like 4 pedals ziptied to a 2x4?
