On dKos they're calling for a landslide to "break the back of the right-wing movement".
There's at least one major problem with that: right-wingers don't get dejected and give up. They get violent, and unhinged, and start stockpiling guns and bombs and start killing people and blowing shit up. Kind of like Oklahoma City.
It's going to be an interesting 8 years. I predict that the next terrorist attack inside the USA will have nothing to do with Islam, and everything to do with fundamentalist Christianity, racism, and anti-government hatred.
