so, i saw this when it aired the other night and recently came across the video posted on youtube. It's a piece from PBS about swing voters in viriginia.
The wife had me yelling at the TV. she comes into the interview at about 2:20 and is full of stupid.

I actually have a strong belief that virginians dont like to be told how to think as a majority. And mainstream virginians were appalled (in polling) when north virginians were called communists the other day, I have a feeling that this event unto itself may galvinize many virginians into obama support simply because of the betrayal of ideology that the republicans are so expertly displaying out of formulaic adherence to PR policy.
In short, it makes their usual pick look desperate and divisive even to mainstream small town virginians.

and again, to add, virginians have a good amount of independant voters, and looking at the polls it is probably that they will show up in numbers that are 4x the normal showing. This can grab a considerable amount of electoral votes all over.
Lets just hope they are white voters seeing as how there is a well organised and pretty much legal exclusion of black democrats countrywide over the last 8 years. This time will be worse due to forclosure exlusion tactics and also "Exact Match" States such as Iowa etc. Sigh...

i was thinking that as well..sort of. the "real america" thing is gonna bite the mccain campaign in the ass not to mention further divide america.
