Hi,
This evening I knocked up a little utility for myself and have uploaded it in case its of any use to you. PC (windows) only, I'm afraid.
What the utility does is take your Nord Modular (G1) patches and automatically assign midi CCs to the assigned knobs, handy if you need to automate your patches or simply have different snapshot settings for commonly used patches stored in your sequencer.
Usage :
Run the program and select "Process PCH File" (for a single patch) or "Process directory" (for multiple patches - handy for dealing with banks of patches downloaded from the modular)
The program processes these patch files and automatically assigns midi CC#s to each assigned knob in the patch, starting from the midi CC# you specify.
If you are using midi CCs starting from 21 (the default) the first 15 knobs will be assigned to midi CCs 21-35. Knobs 16,17 and 18 are hard-coded to midi CCs 8,10 and 7 due to all my own patches using these knobs to control output port, pan and volume repectively. Also, the expression pedal input is hard-coded to CC#1.
Anyway, hope that make sense and might come iin useful for some of you.

Cheers,
Chris

yep i know about it, dont use it tho as the clavia editor works just fine for me. does nomad do auto-mapping of CCs to knobs?
<edit> doesnt seem to...so this should be useful to pc based users of nomad, too.

just updated the program to fix a bug where knobs that were already assigned a CC did not get overwritten with the new CC number (also added an option to allow this to happen) and added support for automatically mapping the sustain (on/off) pedal to a controller (hard-coded to cc#4).
there is also a readme file in this release with instructions on how to use the program.
