after taking it apart and putting it back together again three times it now works. i don't know what i did.
but whatever it is it fucking works.
I have learnt some valuable lessons:
1. I don't ever want to have a job fixing mixing desks.
2. Mixing desks are servicable to a point. After that god knows whats going on.
3 Take a digital photo of how everything is plugged in - else you will forget
4. Fixing yourself feels amazing but I wanted to go to the local audio lab place just to have a nosey.
