the thing is: you should be able to decide if your music is free or not
here's what i say in the interview:
myself in the interview said: "Of course, if some artists decided to give their music away for free, that's perfectly ok. Because THEY decide it. I mean, i give away a lot of my music for free! But i also demand to be payed for other stuff i release. I don't think that this decision should be up to the listeners. That would be like: Hey listener of my music, you decided to grab my stuff for free? Well, ok, now i'll come to your place and take something from your fridge. And, oh, i like your dvd collection, i'll take one of these too, ok?"

I understand where you're coming from but your analogy has been debunked numerous times in similar conversations like these.
If you take a loaf of bread from me i'm out bread. If i take your song you're out nothing because I wasn't going to pay you anyway whether I listened to your song or not.
Frankly with p2p services and the like you can't stop people from sharing your stuff.
That being said if I hear a great album put out by someone NOT associated with the huge recording companies I'm much more inclined to pay for it.
I gladly pay artists for their time and creativity, but I'm not paying a huge recording company...just for being a huge recording company.
I'd gladly pirate an album and mail the artist 10$ directly instead of buying it in the store and passing the artist $.10 down the line.
