--> hey i posted a little note up in the forum about this new studio i'm working in but i think it got deleted because the powers that be must have taken it as advertising, which i suppose to be fair it was in a way, but not nasty advertising

anyway lets see if it fairs better in my blog because this studio is awesome and im really excited to be working for them. its called jutland avenue and its in london, just south of the river. the space is pretty small, i.e the booth only really has room for maybe a couple of people at a time but the gear pron makes up for it. anyway, i'm really excited to be in job now that i think i'm really going to enjoy, and hopefully meet some really great people along the way! plus i have the addest bonus of getting to use the gear whenever i can. as i said before, if anyone wants to come down and have a look around just message me because i'd love to see some em411'ers down there.

i don't want to think about how much that is all worth, the desk is like 50 grand alone

i was looking at the rev7 thinking 'that looks like my sampler- why the f would they have one of those?' then i remembered about the rev7

nice and clean.
this looks like a really comfy studio despite the size. the space looks completely workable.
what a great job.
would that i was in the UK i'd drop in for a quick hello.
that desk is tits in my face.

looks great!

holy mother of god.

Can I come hang out with you?

what will you be doing for them? Please tell us about your new job in a way that cannot be construed as advertising ;)
haha well i'm doing a bit of everything really, assistant engineer, helping to promote the artists that come through, liasing, a&r'ing and general pimping. and ofcourse, booking clients is in there too

i wish the place had more speakers

whereabouts south of the river is it?

btw having a lamp behind the door like is an accident waiting to happen.

yeah look at the wire trailing under the chair leg too
tut tut

and the barrel of hydrochloric acid should be at least 20 feet away from the open bags of sodium hydroxide.

and why does a recording studio need so much mutated anthrax, anyway??

for the same reason everybody needs so much mutated anthrax - large-scale genocide, duh
