Nope, .........I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure democratic western Christian civilisation never offends anyone - particularly fanatics intent on killing us - airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile (or target)certain people. They must only conduct random searches of 80-year-oldwomen, people in wheelchairs, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the U.S.President's security detail, 85-year old World War II veterans with metal hips, and Boy Scout groups. They must never "target" a turban wearing 17 to 40 year old male who appears to have a suspicious package tied around his body. This would be unjustified discrimination!

Send this to as many people as you can so that the "do gooders," Greenies and other misguided fools, including some High Court Judges, who want to thwart common sense feel doubly ashamed of themselves. As Forest Gump (a product of decadent democratic western Christian civilisation) so aptly put it, "Stupid is as stupid does!"

although I agree there's a problem with muslim extremists in the world, the email is a bit biased. I don't have the link with me but there are several other extremist "organizations" that conducted "terrorism" (one of which surpassed the muslim acts). It's a problem is asia, africa, south america and the middle east. Extremism in general (whether it be muslim or christian) is never good, but it does not exist just in the middle east. Unfortunatelly society and mainstream media in recent years has been focusing on that, while not really reporting the more extreme masacres in parts of africa and elsewhere as much.

my two cents

doesn't matter if the creatures sitting on that oil from the persian gulf to the caspian sea are muslim extremists or walruses, if they get in the way of our being able to oil another global war, there's gonna be trouble.

the middle east has always been a strategic lynchpin of the world, since the time of the spice trade, through the trade wars which built the suez canal, during WW2 feeding right up to the present day of oil conflict. This will not change anytime soon. If you don't understand that reality, whatever be your personal slant on the justice of war or global problems with human rights, you do not understand the world.

This statement is not biased its truth, fact. To say all Muslims are evil is wrong. But to deny that most of these
events arent Muslim actions is false, its is in fact! Its isn't our President, its isn't Arnlod (lol), know the enemy.

Of course the reason non-Muslims (which actually means not dark-skinned--well, not really dark-skinned, only moderately darker than a typical Anglo-Saxon) get searched at airports too is you can't always tell a religious extremist by their outward appearance. Al Qaeda is smart enough to know that Arabs attract attention--that's why they use a Richard Reid or a Jose Padilla.

Imagine how many other John Walker Lindhs there are out there--he's the kind of guy we really need to be afraid of.

Anyway, anyone with an Arabic/Pakastani/Persian last name is always given the third degree at American airports.

i think the only person i ever have to fear terrorism from is myself. and maybe the police if i decide to go out into the streets to protest my tax dollars being turned into bullets and bombs.

"What are the odds of dying on our next flight or next trip to a shopping mall? There are more than 40,000 malls in this country, and each is open about 75 hours per week. If a person shopped for two hours each week and terrorists were able to destroy one mall per week, the odds of being at the wrong place at the wrong time would be approximately 1.5 million to 1. If terrorists destroyed one mall each month, the odds would climb to one in 6 million. This assumes the total destruction of the entire mall; if that unlikely event didn't occur, the odds would become even more favorable.

In another hypothetical but horrible scenario, let us assume that each week one commercial aircraft were hijacked and crashed. What are the odds that a person who goes on one trip per month would be in that plane? There are currently about 18,000 commercial flights a day, and if that person's trip has four flights associated with it, the odds against that person's being on a crashed plane are about 135,000 to 1. If there were only one hijacked plane per month, the odds would be about 540,000 to 1."

I think that "lethatlity odds list" is a good indicator of how overblown our reaction is. last week dozens of african immigrants drowned when trying to enter europe by boat, I don't see anyone fighting the cause of that.

fighting the ocean?

we could go to war with micronesia-they're kind of like the ocean.

maybe the cause isn't the water alone but also the criminal human trafficking that is fostered by EU immigration policies..

sorry for going OT there.

sadly, i see people harming the ocean all the time. but its a big kid, it can take it.
