Hahahaha! Control Ableton Live wirelessy through your Sony PSP.

Seems more gimmicky than actually useful, but still pretty damn cool.

nice,. maybe ill get another one to replace my non working one.

and a ds lite to run that tracker.

yeah, it does seem gimmicky...everytime i read about this, though, i get the feeling that there is some cool use i'm not realizing

but i dunno

celibacyclub: did you "brick" your psp?

one person building loops at the computer, one person sitting on the couch, "intervening" with the PSP.. sounds like a fun way to spend a night haha

i love seeing stuff like this. soon we'll be running reaktor on gameboys

you could play a show AND be able to dance with hot girls in the audience....just bring your PSP offstage with you.

Not a chance

...but dancing just miiiiiight.

well you can stand in front of your computer instead of 'checking email' style. but it still doesn't have a touch screen which would make this app a must have.
yeah, a touch screen would be brilliant. DSLive anyone? I do love the analog stick/xy controller though. that alone might make it worth using, if you happened to have a PSP sitting around.

the sony little portables look killer but $$$$!!!

I think someone could mod one of these: Link
The OS is open source and it has a touch screen... plus some shake/squeeze sensors.

very cool. i have been thinking of getting that 3 lcd screen/button thing . maybe one of those chumby would be better. i basically want a stopwatch type button i can set/reset and an advance to next set button that both give me feedback so i know whats going on without having to look at the computer screen the entire time.

that would be super useful for me if you can arm or start/stop recording clips with it.
at our space we have the computer is in one place, but if i want to record some rhodes or juno or anything that isnt right there and its just me i have to start recording the clip, go sit somewhere else, play some shit, get up, go sit at the computer and trim the clip to the portion i needed.

I think Chumby has alot o' potential. I wonder how hard it would be to create a little interface for a nord g2.
