--> Decibel Festival was fucking amazing this year. I saw so much incredible music, met a lot of great people (including a bunch of you from em411! Hi y'all!) and had a great time volunteering and mingliing with artists. I even saw Richard Chartier in the deli section at QFC! How cool is that?

I have photos. Some of them are even kinda decent. Here they are: link

I probably have some sort of writeup about the event soon. Hopefully, I'll also have a 2 minute video clip of Thomas Fehlmann's set up on Youtube tonight or tomorrow.

Nice pics! I had a supah time at the festival. Great sets by all! I think my favorite was SciFiSol and my second was definitely Speedy J at the end.

It was definately a good time! It was rad to meet you, thank you for the offer of your home and directions, etc! you're good people...

everyone's sets were amazing...i especially enjoyed hearing the 8FM guy, Murcof, Son of Rose, Apparat and Alex Smoke. how can i choose my favorite with so much awesome musics?

i'm excited for the next one (?)

OMFG Murcof...brilliant. But I can say that about so much of what I saw. Anyone else catch Ryoichi Kurokawa at the Optical Showcase? I only saw a few minutes, but it was incredible. Everyone wanted a DVD when they left!

I just wish I'd been able to catch more of the Andreas Tilliander or Mokira sets. I've been listening to his music for ages. Sad thing is, I hear the airline lost his MPC!

i'll have to post the handful of photos i have. decibel is great. i'll have to stay longer next year. i heard they were playing the buried in time comp outside the broadway performance hall!

yes! it was amazing! so much good msic, so many good friends! woooo! my fav sets were bola (as anyone who was near me can attest to), static (who i had never hear of but was super rad) and omg the dead texan (bought the cd/dvd and it is amazing). other super shows were definetly murcof, telefon tel avaiv, mokira, apparat, and of course, thomas fehlmann. i wish i could have seen more but sometimes food and sleep got in the way. ;) that speedy j av thing was rad, his set was good but not so much my thing.

i hope they can swing it again next year.
