: ) personally, i cannot stand shakira. there's something about her voice that makes me want to disembowel myself with a porcupine. but it's mostly its her tendency to sound like she's enduring a hernia, which is a quality of my own voice that makes me cringe and i try to avoid like the plague. shakira also has a tremolo/vibrato aspect very similar to jennifer lopez's voice which also makes my stomach turn. but then, i'm hyper-critical of female vocalists - which are also my favourite to listen to.

i actually haven't heard the song - laurel pointed out the lyric's to me this morning - which caused the desire to share the horror.
i posted ontario hq - as it's easier to catch on the main front page...maybe that's just me?
