version 6 is finally available...just in time for a rainy weekend! the whole world must be hitting ableton's site now cuz it's taking forever for the 69MB update to download. link
anyone had time to play with it yet?

The thing with ableton is -----> even if i don't use snap to grid, i'd still like to see the bloody grid. It's the only application that removes the grid lines and it's annoying.

I love it so far. The automap is the dopeness. Its too freakin easy to get hands on controll now. My triggerfinger and ketstation pro88 have suddenly become much more usefull.

i logged on to abeltons update and it took me directly to download .dmg and the download started. is update free for me/5.2 users? or am i downloading a demo or sumtin?

i wonder if you can do that scrolling of a loop that joshua(from telefon tel avivdoes) in live5. i remember someone here mentioning doing that to beats and i watched the video and i still don't get what he's doing. it would be cool to midi that scroll bar to a knob or slider on a controller.

It says here that:
ableton said: "Buy Live 5 now and get a free downloadable upgrade to Live 6! This offer is valid to all users who unlock their full version of Live 5 after July 14 and before October 31.
