why is british stand up so terrible and crude?
granted johnny vegas is like the absolute worse, but still. this is what each place is good at:

The only comedian that I really like who does really rock the boat [not crude but offends sensibilities] is Frankie Boyle: link [check the Princess Diana concert one]. I first saw Johnny Vegas doing small snatches on Simon Munnery's League Against Tedium show called "Attention Scum!" and all he did on that was stand outside a shop, pissed with a bottle of whiskey, ranting some inane shit.
