hiya!

so after two years i remembered about a software that was being developed called BuzzLE, which is a clone of the buzz tracker with support of buzz machines etc.

when i first tried it in 2006, it was quite buggy, so i thought i'd wait for it to get developed more and then try it again but i completly forgot about it until yesterday!
well, it seems development has been really slow on the project and it is still in beta.

i was just wondering if any of you use this software and are able to make any music with it without it crashing everytime you try to do... well, anything.
they had a buzzle wiki but that's been taken down unfortunatly.

Buzzle's pretty much dead and frankly, good riddance. buze won the buzz clone wars.

aw dayum. i really liked the interface on buzzle!
buzé looks abit of an eye sore and i judge book by cover, yes :D

I judge a car by how well it runs.

i can't drive
but ok, i'll give buzé a whirl!

are there any advantages of buze over buzz?

yeah there's some extra editing features. for example undo. also the ability to see several windows simultaneously - like several pattern editors at the same time as the sequencer. I think there's a pattern auto-loop in the sequencer too. the VST and MIDI functionality is apparently streamlined. there's some other stuff to but much of it is in the future and anyway I have only used it a few times.

I was excited about Buzzle for a long time, after a while it seemed like the guy lost the plot.

I just want something that is like buzz and is really stable. I like renoise but I missd the multitrack pattern screen in buzz. I like being able to list a pattern for each instrument. I haven't seen other trackers like that. Fruity loops works like that, but I like the tracker interface.

buze is superior to buzz in many places. there's an undo function, you can copy/paste effect chains and whatnot. on top it's said to be as stable as buzz, maybe even more.
