I guess I could still make it if I was desperate but nah. too bad cos I know it's gonna be a good show. :P
yeah Rob Hall rocked last time. his sets for download have gotten even better...I don't see how he could do any wrong at this point."

man.. since you ain't going ricemutt bailed and now i'm driving down there by myself...

man that little punk. I mean fat jerk. I hope you have a good time regardless. I would totally be there if I lived on the other side of Snoqualmie. dance your ass off for me, man.

lol...i talked to a friend of mine who saw them in portland, and when i asked him how he llked the show, all he could say was thhat it was LOUD.

haha, I got my hearos at guit center too...in boston, one hour before the autechre set in 2005! they will be with me next week in DC!

anyone here going to be in DC?

i am going to DC and philly. and to top it off, in philly i am staying with a friend and i get to play with his buchla 200... and his buchla music easel... and his EMS VCS3... and some other awesome music equipment he has. autechre will just be an added bonus.

I can't wait for the Cambridge show...

These Etymotic earplugs are also awesome and $12 link , I have a few pairs spread around my house (always losing them)

anybody record the show???????

the portland show was awesome! They could just burn the liveset to a cd and release it! it would totally blow everything else out of the water. it was great to see ae in action.

I wanted to but someone stole my iPod a day before the show... I wanted to use my ipod mic thingy... oh well
i guess it's up to frnortnr to record it now

so what's with the radio silence on the Seattle show? you guys just trying to save me some butthurt? or did it suck?

I'm shocked a soundboard recording hasnt showed up yet.

Oh my fuck Seattle was awesome.

Rob Hall was good. Massonix....eh. He was doing some pretty amazing stuff, but it was interspersed by embarrassing soprano sax wankery and way too much downtime.

Ae was amazing. Really fucking good. The live material reminded me more of Untilted than Quaristice, which is good because I think Untilted is a better album :D. Very rhythm heavy, lots of texture, incredibly dense. Some guy managed to get on stage during their set and was leaning over checking out their gear before security dragged him away. They looked pretty annoyed at that. Otherwise, it was all heads-down, on stage in the dark for them. Loved it.

i saw em at Dour festival last year, it was amazing.

their sound guy recorded the portland show. he had one of those zoom handheld recorders w/XLR's coming straight from the board. the normal sound guy at the venue said to me "yeah, that's their sound guy". so perhaps they are gonna release something?? or pick a few good ones and share them.. who knows.. i'd love to have a copy of the portland show. it was killer.
