autechre needs to put out a cd of their current and 2005's live sets coz that shit fucking rules... i'm reallyreally glad they turn off all the lights when they play, coz it forces you to close your eyes and listen. and shit if there's a lot of shit to listen too...

Wow, great show...just bangin' machine drum beats. Though, it was flanked by 2 hours of a terrible IDM dj and a boring Massonix set.

abbey pub was funny. Ive never been there. a guy next to me sat at a table and ate a hamburger while ae played. There were like 800 guys and 50 girls there.

i saw them saturday night in toronto. sold out show. holy shit. it was very good. seemed faster and harder and denser than the untilted tour. people were freaking and dancing and begging for an encore. the sound was good too, even though the venue usually isn't this city's best venue for sound. i was thoroughly impressed.

I went mental in Montreal. I kinda wish everybody around me did too. Only a few of them. Most stood and watched like voyeurs.

the DC show was great. walked in and rob hall was dj'ing, so we went around the corner and found a good book store, then headed to another bar for a couple of stiff drinks. walked back into the club in time for 20 minutes or so of rob hall setting the mood. found a good spot to listen from, about 20 feet back and just right of center, then the lights went out and ae took the stage. I wasn't too sure if the droney synth at the end of hall's set was him or ae...but there was no mistaking it when they SLAMMED straight into a hard ~70 minute trip. I just shut my eyes and let it wash over me. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
