I've asked this in the past - but have now forgotten how I fixed it!

Anyhow -----

New computer - just uploaded Cubase SX2 - running a RME Hammerfall soundcard with it

All good except.... when I press play there is a 1-2 second pause before it starts..... like a time lag or latency issue?

Any pointers would be good

Does the song position pointer pause for 1-2 seconds as well or just the audio? It could just be a pre-roll setting...I haven't used SX in a while so I don't quite remember where to look for that. Project properties?
