I noticed on one of jdg's em411 blog archives that if you get sudden CPU spikes on PC's running Cubase SX 1,2 or 3 that you have to change the processor affinity to 1. Anyone tried using imagecfg on it with success? Is there a better/more reliable method? This is for an Intel dual-core.

Well, it's been a week, and I did try using imagecfg -a 0x1 on CubaseSX.exe. This is for SX1 on a dual-core machine, btw. So far I've not seen any CPU spikes on its performance meter since. Any change and I'll post it.
