well considering the fact that I've been using the 303 for over a decade now I don't think I'll be disappointed.
I've had an er1 and frankly they don't even compare to the 303. The interface is great, the synth parts sound tits and the arpeggiator is nice.

MC-303 is great.
RM1X ditto.
Both boxes incomparable.
Dont let any other gearwhore tell you otherwise, they may be full of features and missing alot features that a Machinedrum or MPC dont have, but great things can be done with alot of creativity on these boxes.
I'd say the MC has way better sounds over the RM1x though the RM1x has some awesome efx works as a great MIDI controller with re-assignable CC knobs, and way more options for sound control. I've owned both and I'm rockin a KARMA and Ableton now.

not much to trade really just a
bent 505 and an mmt-8 sequencer and some trance sample disks.
I was hoping to pick one up for cheap from someone who hated theirs.
but they're going pretty cheap on ebay (around 140-150) so I might just sell some gear and get one there...
