My girlfriend's mac needs an antivirus program.
It looks like there a re a few out there.
What's your preferred one?
Any I should avoid?

I use AVG on my PC and it seems pretty good. Basically looking for the Mac equivalent...

Why do you need anti-virus for the mac? There are no mac virsues in the wild? If you do need one because you are working on a Windows network ClamXav should be all you need.

i've had one virus on my mac in the last 7 years, not that bad but they do exists.
