im interested in whether these would help me in my quest for lo fi midi hardcore producing?
do they have midi out at all?
are they stable enough to use out live? with the right trackers of course!

all i want to do is pre-write the tracks then to play them and sing/yell along live
it would be preferable if i could make them have midi out also so that i can connect up my yamaha qy10 for drum and other sounds

maybe?
thanks!

i'd rercommend octamed on the amiga, pretty sure if you can sync it under emulation on pc. (i think i've seen this option winUAE)
never used midi on octamed myself tho, i used to sync two amigas back in the day using a null modem cable.

otherwise you'd have to find a midi device for the amiga on ebay. worth checking out the software under emulation first tho, same goes for c64.

thanks dude =) have seen those midi devices for the amiga, but i couldnt work out if they worked as midi outs (??)

i was more looking for something i can use so that i dont need to bring my laptop along, otherwise i would just use the 'lo fi' vsts i have

for c64 i'd wait for this ...

wow that looks awesome... if only i still had a c64

That mssiah cart is an updated version of prophet64 (which is definitely pretty good), but it only does midi sync if you had some kind of other device/cable. ALSO, I've had very bad experiences with it crashing and losing songs... no fun.

oh that sucks h4x!

turns out im just gonna get daswesen to build me a midi file player... then all will be at peace in the world =)

thanks again though =)

the mssiah has the midi hardware built into the cart now. i'd imagine many bugs from prophet64 will be fixed as during development.

the atari st's has built in midi interfaces, and tons of sweet software.
