Ok so i am a sound design student. And my only reference with mics is that of my own really cheap ones or the ones at school that are freakin too expensive..

Anyone know a solid shotgun mic for around 300 e?

sorry, no. I'm looking for a good directional, low noise mic, too since my cat chewed up my minidisk mic

i have cats, they chewedon lots off cables here too...i feel for ya.

I am also considering the zoom series. Its really easy and also directional.... aargh choises..
