hello.
i want to buy a kaosspad 3. (for dj acts and live acts)
but i'm not that convinced and is pretty expensive here.
can you post + and - parts of kp3 in you dj/live experience ?

i had mini kp.
it was great but with a HUGE problem !!!
it controlled the volume in a strange way.
sort of limiting it.
i sold it fast ...

@jogn: yes, we recorded everything and videotaped it with 3 cams. but it will take some time until we have edited it. there's much more in it like my robots and white mice making music and so on.
i will blog it here once it is edited.

Unknownforce:
the volume out of kp mini was low and somehow "weak".
maybe it was just my unit.

no the kp mini volume is low on mine too. the best thing to do is put it thru a mixer with a nice gain, or use the haedphone out instead of the line out - not as clean, but sounds quite bristly

the kp3's outputs are pretty loud... sometimes too damn loud, haha

ive noticed some volume problems, i.e the effected signal is not as loud as the clean, even though it's 100% wet.
still my #1 piece of kit tho. love it.

i love my kp3.. even with its faults.. live i feed the output from my rs7000 into it and use it to dj style mix between my tracks ..

pro: - crazy easy sampling.. great fun.. nice clean mic pre.. easy resample bump.. filters are nice.. as are the re-looping effects

cons:- most effects are weak and not customizable .. fuck sake a multi guitar pedal gives you more customization.. i want a distortion + delay!! vocoder is CRAP!! rca input ( i run my output from the phones jack.. no hum on mine ) .. synths are fun but limited.. couldn't get it to save loops ( but that might be my lack of RTFM )
